This week 53 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 13 were first timers and 9 recorded new Personal Bests. Well the Cole family actually saved today's parkrun by providing 4 volunteers and 5 volunteer roles (first timers brief and tail walker). A couple of centuries later an Italian Historian nicknamed him Filius Bonacci (son of Bonacci) and that is how he is known to this day all though it is now shortened to the more familiar Fi Bonacci. So what is all the fuss about Fibonacci and who was he anyway? Well it turns out we have been calling him the wrong names anyway! His real name was Leonardo Bonacci and he came from the Republic of Pisa. Today's report will be therefore be given a "U" rating so we will need to watch our language. Today the parkrun family came to the fore and volunteered and ran/walked together. What the day actually turned out to be was all about families. I was expecting today to be all about the numbers given that 233 is in the Fibonacci sequence and we hoped would attract some interest from dedicated tourist challenge hunters. Perfect autumn running conditions, but it was a mite chilly with traces of an overnight ground frost and an air temperature of less than 4℃. He is on top of a box with random Christmas decorations and presents. Players can find him at the northeastern corner of the area, near an elf. The Grand Exchange in New Varrock has been chosen as the temporary location for Postie Pete during the event. Players can give him Christmas Wrapping Paper in exchange for a reward. As of the Christmas Event in RuneScape 2021, Postie Pete acts as a reward-giving NPC.
